Refresh rate
How many times per second your monitor draws a new image, in Hz.
A 60 Hz panel draws 60 frames per second; 144 Hz, 144; 240 Hz, 240. Higher refresh reduces motion blur and input-to-display lag. Beyond ~120 Hz, the perceived smoothness benefit shrinks but tracking-target aim continues to improve up to ~360 Hz. VRR (G-Sync / FreeSync) varies the refresh rate to match the GPU's frame rate.
