1. Acceptance

By accessing or using devicecheckonline.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. The service

DeviceCheckOnline Labs provides free, browser-based diagnostic tools — including but not limited to mouse, keyboard, monitor, audio, microphone, webcam, network, and gaming tests. The tools are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, for personal and informational use only.

3. Accuracy & measurement disclaimer

Browser-based diagnostics are subject to the limits of the Web platform. Measurements (polling rate, refresh rate, latency, dB levels, network speed, etc.) are best-effort estimates and may differ from values reported by dedicated hardware tools or operating-system utilities. We document each tool's methodology and known limits in the corresponding Methods articles.

Do not use these tools as the sole basis for warranty claims, returns, repairs, or any decision with material consequence. Confirm any concerning result with the manufacturer or a qualified technician.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) in a manner that imposes a disproportionate load on our infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, servers, or related systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is publicly served
• Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Site's content without prior written permission
• Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, methodology articles, and brand assets on the Site are the property of DeviceCheckOnline Labs or its licensors, protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Third-party names referenced for informational purposes (game titles, pro-player names, hardware brands) remain the property of their respective owners and are used here under nominative fair use.

You may link to any page on the Site freely. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy substantial portions of the Site without written permission.

6. Third-party content & advertising

The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and may link to third-party websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, or services offered by any third party. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their terms and policies. 7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ITS TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DEVICECHECKONLINE LABS, ITS OPERATORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR HARDWARE DAMAGE — ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months (which, for the avoidance of doubt, is zero).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
