Input lag
Time from your click or keypress to the resulting pixel change on screen.
End-to-end lag is the sum of mouse polling delay, USB report time, OS scheduling, game engine tick, GPU render, display scan, and pixel response. An esports-tier setup totals under 25 ms. An office laptop is 70–90 ms. Cloud gaming adds 30–80 ms on top. Latency under 30 ms feels imperceptible; over 60 ms is noticeable in fast-paced games.
