      Frequently asked

How do I test my whole computer or phone online?

Pick PC, laptop, or mobile, then press Start. The Hub runs every browser-measurable diagnostic in sequence — CPU, GPU, memory, storage, network, refresh, battery — and aggregates results into one report you can copy or download.

How long does the full auto-run take?

About 90 seconds on a healthy device. The PC profile includes thermal sustain (back-to-back CPU bench) which is the slowest step at ~18 seconds. Mobile and laptop profiles are similar.

Is the device report saved anywhere?

Only in your browser. Generate the report and copy it or download a .txt locally. Nothing leaves your device.

Which tests should I run before buying a used computer or phone?

All of them — that's exactly what the Hub auto-run does. Run it in the seller's hand and you have a defensible 'Buyer's Report' in 90 seconds. Pair with /wizard/used-phone-check or /wizard/used-laptop-check for the visual-checklist follow-ups.

Can I test a laptop screen for dead pixels or backlight bleed in the browser?

Not from the Hub — that needs human eyes on a fullscreen colour pattern. After the auto-run, open /monitor/dead-pixel from the manual follow-ups list.
